The Use of O Universal Profile Within Hemorrhagic Shock Post-partum Bleeding Patients in Dr. Soetomo General Hospital’s Emergency Installation

Background: Hemorrhagic shock is one of the most common types in trauma patients, and it defined as acute blood volume loss. One causes hemorrhagic post-childbirth bleeding or post-partum bleeding. The important management for patients who experience transfusions. Type-O known a universal donor, because someone with type- O can transfuse theirs to recipients other than O. Giving transfusions pos-tpartum expected extend their life expectancy, however cannot be denied that there are quite several died after receiving from type blood.Objective: This study aims determine profile effect use on within at IGS RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya.Methods: research was conducted by descriptive retrospective method observing patient's medical record data central room Hospital, Surabaya.Result: There were 17 due hemorrhage received donors Surabaya. From obtained data, patient age group dominated 28 years old (23,5%). Transfusion history packed red cell (PRC) + (76,5%). As transfusion reactions occur no reactions.Conclusion: largest blood. History shows them those PRC regarding which occurred these patients.
